View and filter the email log

The Email Log is where SMTPPai shows what it tried to send. When something goes wrong, start here before guessing about DNS or plugin conflicts.

Open the log

Go to SMTPPai → Email Log.

What each row shows

  • Subject
  • To (recipient)
  • Route (for example WordPress or WooCommerce)
  • Connection used
  • Status — Sent, Failed, or Pending
  • Time
  • Actions — view details, and retry when failed

You may also see a Failover indicator when the backup connection was used.

  • Status filters: All, Sent, Failed
  • Search across subject, recipient, and error text
  • Date from / date to
  • Pagination (20 rows per page)

Open details

Use the view action on a row. The detail modal includes sections such as Overview, Envelope, Delivery, Headers, Mail Server Status, and Message (body appears only if you enabled storing bodies in Settings).

What is always logged

Connection, provider, route, recipient, subject, status, failover flag, error message, headers/meta, and timestamp. Message bodies are optional — see Email log settings.
