Assign a connection for WooCommerce mail

When WooCommerce is installed and active, SMTPPai shows a WooCommerce route on the Specify Connections tab. Shop emails (new order, processing, customer invoices, and other WooCommerce emails that use WordPress mail) can then use their own connection.

When this applies

  • WooCommerce is active — otherwise the WooCommerce row does not appear.
  • You want store mail on a different provider, From address, or connection name than general WordPress mail.

Steps

  1. Create a connection you want for store mail and test it.
  2. Go to SMTPPai → Specify Connections.
  3. Select Use Separate Connection (Recommended).
  4. On the WooCommerce row, choose that connection.
  5. Save.

What if the WooCommerce route is empty?

If you leave WooCommerce unassigned while using separate connections, SMTPPai falls back to the WordPress route connection for WooCommerce mail. That keeps the shop working while you finish configuration.

One for Everything

If you stay on One for Everything, WooCommerce mail uses the same single connection as everything else — no separate row assignment needed.

Verify

  1. Place a test order (or resend a WooCommerce email from an order screen).
  2. Check Email Log for the message and connection name.

MailPai note

If MailPai is also installed, you may see Newsletter and Outreach rows. Configure those only if you use MailPai features; they are not required for WooCommerce.
